Well I finally found you, Denny, but you'd left this earth just a few weeks earlier.
I have nothing but great memories of our times in high school. Your dry wit, your sharp insightful tips as I learned chess from you. My favorite photo of you at age 17, laughing in study hall at some comment from Mr. Dokken. A wonderful life was yours and you touched us all with your warm smile.
Pleasant journey, my friend, and see you on the other side.

Denny was my supervisor at Meredosia power station during the final years of operation. As dark clouds formed, he was a ray of sunshine to look forward to when going to work. Gods gain is our loss.

To Lark & family,
I want to send my sorrow for you and family. Denny was in my class. He was such a brilliant and gentle, friendly guy and would always have a smile of friendliness and enthusiasm about him. I'm Bob Jensen's (Carol's husband) sister and I never got the opportunity to meet you or your son. Would only hear about you and would always ask when in Estherville. Had so hoped you'd be at our last reunion. My heart goes out to you! Denny was a great guy who contributed good things to society. He will be missed. Carolyn Jensen

Lark, So Sorry for your loss. Was shocked to see the obituary today!. Denny and I exchanged birthday wishes in October and thought we could get together for lunch or something. However, circumstances with my parents precluded that. I am truly sorry! Denny was such a caring, fun-loving person! His smile and personality lit up a room!! Jeff and I will both miss him!
