Shawn M Trader

Shawn M Trader, 59, of Springfield, IL passed away on Monday April 3, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center.

Shawn was born in Springfield on February 26, 1964 and was the daughter of Ronald and Carol (Massaro) Trader.

She is survived by her children, Kristin Trader and Nicholas Trader Sr.; mother, Carol Lazar; spouse Chuck Clemons; siblings, Dawn Miller (Jeff), Ronald Trader Jr. (fiancé, Jody), and Trevor Trader (Krista); grandchildren, Joshua, MaKenzi, Nicholas Jr., Peyton, Willow, Troy, and Grayson; as well as several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Aunts and Uncles, and beloved friends.

Shawn was preceded in death by her father, Ronald L Trader Sr.

Shawn graduated from Lanphier High School in 1982 and worked for the State of Illinois in various positions for 32 years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was very giving with her time to anyone in need. Shawn was a also a mother to four of her grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made to the family of Shawn Trader.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 7, 2023 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home in Springfield. Friends can come to the funeral home between 10:00am - 11:00am, the Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow at a later date at Oakridge Cemetery.
