Ronald (Spike) Craigmiles, 86, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, November, 2, 2021 at Cedarhurst Assisted Living in Springfield. He was born on September 13, 1935, in Chicago, the son of Donald and June (Czarnecki) Craigmiles. Spike served his country as a proud Marine during the Korean Conflict. In addition to being a welder and pipefitter, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia; three children, Chris, Lance and Roxanne; three granddaughters, Kiley, Alexandra and Heather; two great grandchildren, Chloe and Jade; one sister, Sandy (Donald) Hull and several nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bernadine Schneider; and a brother, Joe Craigmiles.
Private family services were held at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield where Spike received Military Honors.
