Robert Bertrang Obituary

Robert Thomas Bertrang, 66, of Springfield, IL passed away from respiratory failure on May 23, 2021.

Robert was born on December 11, 1954 in Springfield, the son of Charles and Marjorie Bertrang. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Bertrang.

Robert is survived by his sister, Sharon and his brother, Steven, as well as 3 nieces.

Robert graduated from the Illinois School for the Blind in Jacksonville and would often be seen in downtown Springfield playing the keyboard. He also would play at the Exhibition Building during the Illinois State Fair. Robert also loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and listening to Cool 93.9 radio station.

He attended Harvard Park Baptist Church and was a man of great faith.
