Pamela Rose Crawford, 66, of Riverton, IL passed away at her home on the morning of October 6, 2023.
Pam was born in Springfield, on September 9, 1957, and was the daughter of George and Edith (Ramey) Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Judy Willett and George Crawford, Jr.; nephews, Jason Crawford and Scotty Willett; and her best friend, Carolyn Schuh.
Pam is survived by her siblings, Cheryl (Ed) Ludtke; Darrell (Chris) Crawford; Kim Crawford; Todd (Missy) Crawford; nieces and nephews, Dawn (Kevin) Willett-Brooks, Tonya Pritchard, Josh (Trish) Crawford, George (Brittany) Crawford, Emma (Andrew) Phillips, as well as several great nieces and nephews
Pam was known for her famous chocolate chip cookies. She was a huge fan and supporter of Dirt Track Racing. She was an official for Springfield Speedway, MOWA Racing, and Jacksonville Speedway.
Pam cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews, who she loved like her own children. She took pride in teaching all of them how to swim in her backyard pool and loved shopping with them. They continuously fought for her #1 spot as a running joke.
Pam also loved camping with her family, bingo with her best friends, and traveling from race track to race track with her racing family.
Cremation services will be coordinated through Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home in Springfield. Please join her family and friends for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 15th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the VFW on Stockyard Road in Springfield, Illinois to honor Pam's life.
