Lucinda N. Pasley (Button), 65, of Rochester, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her home.
She was born on December 30, 1954, in Springfield, the daughter of Jack and Patricia (Cooper) Ross.
Lucinda graduated Summa Cum Laude from UIS with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and practiced for over 30 years. At the age of 19 she was elected to the Rochester City Council and was the youngest elected official in the State of Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Denny (Lisa) Ross.
She is survived by her husband, Steve, of Rochester; two daughters, Tessa (Ellis) Sampson of La Place, LA., and Kate Pasley of Springfield; one granddaughter, Addison Guimard of Springfield; one brother Jack (Val) Ross of Springfield; one nephew and 4 nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Rochester Christian Church, 325 S Walnut St, Rochester, from 1:00PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 with Reverend Sean Smith officiating and Mark Butcher reading the Eulogy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Huntington’s disease Foundation.
