Katherine “Kay” Bristow 77, departed from us on November 12, 2021 at 2:53pm with her family at her bedside.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mae Tuttle, one granddaughter, Amanda J. Smith; one sister, Ruth Akers; one brother, Bob Tuttle; and one great granddaughter.

Kay is survived by two daughters, Kathy Harris of Springfield, IL and Cynthia Venaas Payne of Rio Del, CA; one son, George (Karen) Earl of Springfield, IL; one brother, John (Marie) Tuttle of Murrayville, IL. Kay is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and friends including her beloved dog (Bo Bo) and her best friend, Beverly Jenkins. Kay’s favorite hobbies included doing word search puzzles, drinking her homemade sweet tea and listening to Elvis Presley. Private services were held on November 18, 2021 at 5:30pm.
