Gary "Cowboy" Buschon Obituary

Gary “Cowboy” Buschon, 82, of Pawnee, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. He was born on June 13, 1939, in Rochester, the only child of John and Marcella (Snodgrass) Buschon. He married Glenda Woodruff on September 5, 1970. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 25 years. Gary is survived by his two daughters; Jacinda (Jason) Roberts, and Shannon (Mark) Iverson; grandson, Colton Roberts; granddaughters Jessica Roberts and Alexandria Loveless, all of Pawnee, several cousins, and one niece and one nephew.

Gary retired from Commonwealth Edison Kincaid Station in 1994 and was an Army Military Police Veteran. He loved cooking for his family and classic cars, especially ’57 Chevys.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 4:00-6:00PM at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. in Rochester.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 1:00PM at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Chapel, 5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pawnee Food Pantry.

Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. in Rochester is in charge of arrangements.
