Eric absolutely loved music with all of his heart. He enjoyed hosting Monday open mics at Floyd's for a number of years. He played in numerous bands including Cocked and Loaded. He was the founder and executive director of SoHo music Festival for several years. He loved playing his guitar on his porch. He loved the Chicago Cubs. And he was especially fond and proud of his niece Charlotte and nephew Caleb. Eric had an infectious smile and always gave the biggest and best hugs. He would give you his last dollar if you needed it. Eric was a friend to all and a stranger to no one.
The family thanks all of you for the many kinds words and remembrances of Eric and to St. John’s Hospital for their excellent care. Keep a song in your heart and think of him often. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the year.
