Elizabeth Collins, 89, of Sherman, IL passed from this life on Monday July 31, 2023. Elizabeth was born in Mississippi on June 6, 1934 and was the daughter of Stephen and Alice (Carwell) Baker.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Joann Collins, George Collins, Darlene Collins, Lillie Alexander, Mary Collins, Robert Collins, Freddie Collins, and Frances Williams; grandchildren, Jayden Wallace, Carolyn Collins, Demetri Collins, Marquita Collins, Bobby Collins, Prince Collins , Andrea Burton, Alexis Alexander, Jasmine Collins, C’Andrea Collins, Robert Collins Jr., James Collins, CathyAnn Collins, Barbara Jean Collins, Tracy Lee, Edna Andrews, Antonio Lee, James Lee, Tina Lofton, Oscar Collins, Demitchell Collins, Shawana Davis, and Sherrod Davis; brothers, Homer Baker and Tommy Baker; as well as great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family ceremony held and burial will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
