Dorothy H. Toland, 99, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday May 12, 2022 at her home.

She was born on November 29, 1922, in Springfield to John Henry and Celia (Heissinger) Hullmann, and they preceded her in death.

Dorothy worked for Sangamo Electric for over 30 years. She was married to Francis E. (Gene) Toland until the time of his passing in 1986.

Also preceding her in death were her son-in-law (Robert R. Cutler, Jr); brothers, Herman Hullmann and Thomas Hullmann; and sisters, Ella Head and Mary Brennan.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carol Cutler; granddaughter, Judy Sisson (Terry Connor); grandson, Chris Cutler (Judy) and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Hullmann and James Hullmann (Donna); sisters, Betty Davis and Christine Newingham (Norbert); and sister-in-law, Alice Hullmann; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private family services are being held at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funreal Home. Dorothy is being laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield.
