David Franklin Arnold, Jr., 58, of Williamsville, IL, died on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at UChicago Medicine in Chicago.
Dave was born on February 3, 1962 in Springfield, IL, the son of Judith and James Prichard. He married Lucinda "Cindy" Arnold on November 22, 1986 in Springfield, IL.
Dave was a Christian and put all his faith in the Lord. He was a hardworking family man. He enjoyed Chinese food, ice cold Coca-Cola, and family movie nights. He loved basketball, UFC, bald eagles, pocketknives, classic and southern rock, the Beatles, Journey, and Elton John. Dave finished his high school years at Grace Baptist Academy in 1980. During the course of Dave's career, he served as an oxygen technician where he helped people across the state of Illinois; he has also served as a building service worker, and most recently worked as a Building Supervisor for 4M Building Solutions in Springfield, IL.
He was preceded in death his grandparents, Frank and Frances Bentley.
Dave is survived by his wife, Cindy Arnold of Bloomington, IL; beloved children, David (Jessica) Arnold of Mahomet, IL, Nicholas (Bekah) Arnold of Bloomington, IL, and Amber Arnold of Bloomington, IL; one adored spunky grandchild, Kaylee Arnold of Mahomet, IL; parents, James and Judith Prichard of Springfield, IL; sister, Dena (Geoff) Rodd of Sherman, IL; brother, Jimmy (Becky) Prichard of Blue Springs, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
The family will hold visitation on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 12pm at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home, 530 North Fifth Street, Springfield, IL. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield, Illinois after a service at 1pm. CDC guidelines are being observed and all guests are required to wear masks to enter the building to see the family.
