Daniel V Klespitz

Daniel V Klespitz, 67, of Taylorville, IL passed away at his home peacefully Last Tuesday August 17th, 2021.

Daniel was born in Pittsburg, CA on September 29, 1953 the son of Carl and Elizabeth (Thaxton) Klespitz.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Frank Klespitz.

Dan is survived by his daughters, Brandy Westerfield of Virden, IL, Michelle Klespitz of Lincoln, IL, and Megan Engelhart of Pana, IL; a brother, Larry (Wanda) Klespitz of Springfield; sisters, Linda Klespitz and Sherry Lucero of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces, Camila (Bob) Grace, and Rhiannon (Rob) Toneff of Colorado Springs, CO; nephews, Kristopher Klespitz, Matthew Klespitz and Adam Klespitz of Springfield; many grandchildren; as well as 6 great nieces and nephews of Colorado Springs, CO; and 3 cousins.

Daniel enjoyed sitting in the park and watching the world go peacefully by. Many people loved him deeply and he will be missed by all those who cared for him; he would do anything for anybody. Daniel was cremated and he will be buried with his dogs. His ashes will eventually be laid to rest at Rochester Cemetery with his brother. Daniel was a hard worker and nothing stopped him.
