Charles Beavers
Cricket was born August 31, 1960 in Springfield, Illinois. The son of Ida Jane (Ray) and Charles Davis Beavers.
He worked for Many years doing General Home improvements for the Cool-Vent Company, where he met and became great friends with his Boss Mr. Brashear. That friendship continued to the end.
Cricket ended his career at Cool-Vent due to a Disability, he spent the remainder of his years working on his Fishing Skills.
Cricket enjoyed Fishing, Woodworking, Growing his garden, and many many PLANTS. He also enjoyed old movies and Tinkering/fixing anything. He definitely had a green thumb when it came to growing.
He had his own opinion about most things and was never afraid to share that with anyone who would care to listen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and his Daughter Stephanie.
He is survived by: A son, Daniel (Tiffany) of Kincaid Il, Sister Valerie Miller of Springfield, Sister Roxane Singer of Spaulding, Il, and Brother Ronnie (Paulette) of Springfield.
He is also survived by MANY close friends whom he considered more like Brothers, several of which he has been friends with since childhood : Steve Ray (Linda), James Brinkmeter his cousins but more like brothers, Milo Bell (Patty), Terry Anderson, Jimmy Kyle, Buckwheat, Donnie Lash, and many more. He was the type of friend who was always willing to help if he could and he sure did help many over the years.
Cricket and his quirky traits will always be remembered by his Family and Friends, if you had the opportunity to know him you will certainly always remember him. He was and always will be One-of-A-kind.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 6, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield IL at 11:00am.
