Connie Sue (Ersery) Margaron

Connie Sue (Ersery) Margaron, 54, of Springfield IL, passed away at her home on Tuesday February 18, 2020.

Connie was born on May 9, 1965 in Springfield IL, the daughter of Jack and Carol (Warren) Margaron.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack; grandparents, Eileen and William (Bill) Warren; step-father, Wayne Ersery; and grandson, Jagger E. Cox.

She is survived by her children, Kayla Wartenbe, Marcus Wartenbe, Caitlin Wartenbe, Nicholas Wartenbe, and Kelsey Wartenbe; mother, Carol Ersery-Warren 9 grandchildren, Makala, Alaina, Braylon, Caden, Carson, Atticus, Melokai, Marcus Jr., and 1 expected; and sister, Cassandra Sangies; as well as extended family members and friends.

Connie graduated from Virden High School and went on to join the United States Army before she was medically discharged. Connie went to work for the Illinois Department of Revenue for 10 + years.  She had 5 beautiful children. Connie would work 3 jobs to take care of those 5 children and was an amazing caregiver. She also loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed photography, traveling, and being outdoors.

Cremation service are to be accorded.

Visitation for Connie will take place on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield IL, 62702. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM till the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00AM. Pastor Larry Hanson will be officiating.
