Carleen Wheeler Obituary

Carleen June Wheeler, 88, of Rochester, IL passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday September 28, 2021.

Carleen was born in Kellerville, IL on June 23, 1933 the daughter of Lola M. Hughes; her step father was Carl White.

She married William A Wheeler in November of 1953 and they had 2 children. Carleen enjoyed word search puzzles, taking care of her plants, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1975; her parents, Lola and Carl; and her son, James A Wheeler.

Carleen is survived by her daughter, Vanessa (husband, Larry) of Springfield; grandchildren, Angela (husband, Butch) Reno of Springfield, Christy (husband, Thomas) Hoover of Ivins, UT, and Andrew (wife, Dinah) Willmore of Springfield; great grandchildren, Nathan Hoover, Bailey Hoover, Brooke Hoover, and Rylee Willmore; as well as several extended family members.

A memorial service for the family will be held and she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Rochester Cemetery in Rochester, IL.
