Beverly Brockman Obituary

Beverly Jo Brockman, 88, of Pleasant Plains, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at her home.

Beverly was born on June 19, 1933, in Sangamon County, IL., the daughter of Russell and Iris (Lyons) Sutherd. She married Lucien (L.C.) Brockman on July 15, 1951, in Pleasant Plains and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2012. Beverly was a homemaker and most importantly a foster mother to many children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Myron Sutherd and one grandson.

Beverly is survived by her children, Deborah (Richard) Brown, Michael (Chloe) Brockman, Mark Brockman, Chery (Mark) Densmore and Christopher (Angie) Brockman, as well as 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren with 2 more due in 2022 and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 2, 2022 at Pleasant Plains Cemetery at 10:00am.
