Anna Geraldine Boehme

Anna Geraldine Boehme, 97, of Pleasant Plains, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Anna was born on January 20, 1924 in Chatham, IL, the daughter of William Wallner and Marie Harms. She married Ralph John William Boehme and he preceded her in death in 1987.

Anna devoted her life to being a homemaker and was a very involved volunteer in her church and community. Anna was the Co-founder of SPARC and Little Red School House. She was a long time faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church, in Pleasant Plains, IL. She was very active throughout the church and was President of the Ladies Guild.

She is preceded in death by her father William Wallner, husband Ralph Boehme, three sons: Wayne, Eddie and Dale Boehme, two bothers: William and Harry, two sisters: Florence and Hilda, and a grandson, Rex Peadycoart.

She is survived by her son Tony (Pam Floyd) Boehme of Springfield, IL; her daughter, Judith A. (Robert) Peadycoart of Indianapolis, IN; her sister, Betty Bridgewater of Springfield, IL as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 9:00AM until 11:00 at Zion Lutheran Church followed by a funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Don Pritchard officiating. Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery in Pleasant Plains.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 525 N. Cartwright St., Pleasant Plains, 62677.
