William Albert Suter, 85 of Pittsboro, IN, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis.

William was born on September 19, 1931 in Jacksonville, IL the son of Joseph and Gertrude Suter.  He married Mary Alice Groesch on January 23, 1954; she preceded him in death on December 31, 2009.

He was a self-employed and retired from Fiat Allis. He was an avid Notre Dame fan.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and four sons, David Steven, Gregory Joseph, John Robert, and Timothy Edward; two brothers, Edward and Robert; and one sister, Mary Jo.

He is survived by four children, Michael Albert, Gary Francis, Mary Jane, and Christopher Louis; one sister, Sr. Pat Sue; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini Church with Reverend Scott Thelander officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.
