William D. Harris, 56, of Springfield, IL passed away on August 8, 2020 at his residence.

William was born in Springfield, on May 21, 1964 the son of Robert and Viola (Brown) Harris.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, as well as his brother, Robert Harris Jr. and step daughter, Jessica Sue Black.

William is survived by his daughter, Megan Harris; grandchildren, Deonte E. Long, Amariah S. Harris, Nylah M. Harris, and Nyaja C. Barns; father, Robert Harris Sr.; brothers, Michael Harris Sr. and Bobby Joe Harris; sister, Terri Harris and one niece and several nephews.

William loved spending time with his family and close friends and was very fond of his grandchildren. He loved music of all kinds but especially enjoyed listening to Elvis. He was a very caring and loving person who will be greatly missed.

Cremation services are being accorded by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home in Springfield.
