William E. "Bill" Geddes, 90, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center

Bill was born on September 27, 1926 in Springfield the son of William and Elsie Summer Geddes.  He married Mary L. Perko on December 6, 1947; she preceded him in death on October 29, 2016.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII.  He worked for Allis-Chalmers and later for Fiat Allis on the assembly line retiring after 42 years.  He enjoyed playing pool at the senior center.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and son, William L. Geddes; and sister, Mary Fernanades.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Geddes of Springfield; a nephew Robert (Joyce) Fernandes; a niece, Barbara Banning both of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Betty Perko of Long View, WA; and several great nieces and nephews.

Cremation will be accorded. Private family services will be held.
