Weldon L. Niewold, 78, of Lincoln, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.

Weldon was born on June 13, 1937 in Lawndale the son of Errol and Frances Lockenour Niewold Sr.

He was a veteran of the Illinois National Guard.  He was a truck driver for over 30 years.  He loved riding his Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Errol Niewold Jr.

He is survived by three sons, Greg, Jacob and Zachary Niewold; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Franky) Niewold; friend, Mary Ishmael.

Celebration of life will be at a later date.  Friends and family will be notified.
