Valerie L. Sutton, 57, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Heritage Health.

Valerie was born on September 21, 1961 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Joyce Sutton.

Valerie worked for the State of Illinois.  She was of the Christian faith, loved her son, old movies and music.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and brothers, Theodore "Bud" and Carl.

She is survived by her son, Gregory (Taylor) Moore of North Hollywood, CA; and sister, Sharon Sutton of St. Louis, MO.

Cremation will be accorded.  No services are planned at this time.
