Valerie B. Frank, 80, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.

Valerie was born on June 16, 1935 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Ottmar and Dorothy Clift Schmidt.  She married Lawrence Frank; he preceded her in death in 2013.

She was very active in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Community.  She enjoyed crafts and singing.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Matthew.

She is survived two daughters, Terri Fleck and Tricia Garrett; one son, Todd Frank; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Donna and Meridale.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Rochester with Reverend Samuel Jansen officiating.  Burial will be at Mechanicsburg Cemetery following the luncheon.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
