SPRINGFIELD, IL -

Todd Alan Ridgeway, 56, of Springfield, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Todd was born on August 15, 1966, in Springfield, IL, the son of Russell "Ed" and Maureen (Frasier) Ridgeway.

Todd graduated from Springfield Southeast High School and ITT Technical Institute in St. Louis, studying electronics; eventually working in the HVAC occupation.

He loved the outdoors; fishing, archery, camping, canoeing, hiking and morel hunting.  He snow skied in Colorado and Wisconsin, trout fished in Missouri – loving the competition with his family, especially his mom.  He loved cabin life at the lake, being with friends and family – with laughter.  Todd was a die-hard Cubs fan.

Todd is survived by his parents, Ed and Maureen; brother Troy (Susan) Ridgeway; nephew, Tyler (Logan) Ridgeway and great-niece Sonny Marie, nephew, Wesley Ridgeway; companion, Monica Fairclough; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; oldest buddy "like a brother" Mark (Carla) Blough; and many more good friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary E. and Russell W. Ridgeway; Anna L. Frasier Pivonka and Augusta "Gus" Frasier; aunt, Jeanette Ridgeway, uncle, Dwight Frasier; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street, Rochester, IL is in charge of arrangements. Wednesday, September 28, 2022:  Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m., and burial at Rochester Cemetery.
