Thomas Wayne Pulcher

MECHANICSBURG - Thomas Wayne Pulcher, 56, of Mechanicsburg, Ill., died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at St. John's Hospital.

He was born June 24, 1956, in Springfield, Ill., to Donald Wayne and E. Winona (Taylor) Pulcher. They preceded him in death.

He is survived by one sister, Susan (Gary) Maple of Springfield; two brothers, Jeffrey (Lenore) Pulcher, of Springfield and Steven (Linda) Pulcher, of Mechanicsburg; seven nieces and nephews: Tracy Wilson, Dawn Feldhake, Stephonie Wartins, Luke Pulcher, Jill Pulcher, Jeremy Pulcher, Jessica Pulcher; 12 great-nieces and -nephews, and his dog, "Poncho".

Thomas was a member of the Mechanicsburg Christian Church. He was an active member of Carlock Masonic Lodge #904, Mechanicsburg and Springfield Consistory. He worked for the Dept. of Agriculture at the fairgrounds for many years.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at the Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg with Rev. Shane Hartman officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
