Thomas W. Meyer Sr, 72, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Tom was born on October 19, 1948, in Winfield, KS. the son of Lamont and Harriet (Frohwitter) Meyer. He married Reta Beck on January 30, 1968 and she survives. Tom was a man who could fix anything. He enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family and his dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents. Tom is survived by his wife, Reta; children, Tommy Jr. (Christine) Meyer, Mary (Bill) Stapleton, Lamont (Christa) Meyer, and Ida (Guy) Taylor; 7 grandchildren; two sisters, Becky and Cindy; five brothers, Robert, John, Bill, Jody, and Mike and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was accorded by Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home, 200 S. Church Street, in Mechanicsburg. A Celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
