Theodore R. Lumpkin Jr, 57, of Springfield passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.

Theodore was born on December 26, 1958 in Washington, D.C. the son of Theodore R. and Temprance Wilkerson Lumpkin Sr.  He married Marsha Edmonds on June 16, 1990 in Washington D.C.

He worked for Springfield Clinic in the maintenance department and was a die-hard Washington Redskins fan.  He enjoyed fishing, having a good time and truly enjoyed life.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha; three sons, Theodore, Joshua and Harold; one daughter, Chelsea Edmonds; father, Theodore (Julia) Lumpkin Sr.; nine grandchildren; many brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was accorded and services will be at a later date in Maryland.
