Terry L. Impson, 65, of Rochester, formerly of Tallula, died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield on December 16, 2020.   Terry was born in February 11, 1955 in Urbana, Ohio, the youngest son of John R. and Ethel (Organ) Impson. Terry graduated from Pleasant Plains High School in 1974 and loved farming & horses. He spent over 40 years farming in Tallula. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone with anything they needed. He enjoyed spending most of time with his family & friends. When he wasn't watching westerns he loved boating & fishing on the Illinois River, hunting and traveling to Hawaii. Terry married Lori Bauser and they later divorced. He married Susan Waldmire on January 15, 2011 in Maui. He is preceded in death by his parents & step-son Tony Waldmire. He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Impson & Katie (James) Sundby; Step-sons, Joshua (Fran), Eddie (Kristine) & Nicholas Waldmire; Grandchildren, Jaylie & Cameron Williams; Step-grandchildren, Gianna, Emily, Grant & Samantha Waldmire; Brothers, Steve (Darla), Tim (Linda) & Tom (Karen) Impson; Sister-in-law Deborah (Scott) Pedersen, Ross (Debbie) Owens & Tony Owens; Aunts, Nancy Stuart & Hazel Organ, and several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held with Reverend Samuel Janssen officiating and burial at Rochester Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
