Susan "Susie" B. Bruce, 64 of Springfield, IL passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at St. Johns Hospital.

Susie was born in Springfield on October 18, 1957 and was the daughter of John M Bruce and Elaine M (Dixon) Bruce.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert D. Bruce; and brother in law, Michael Hurley Sr.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Long; granddaughter, Delaney Long; grandson, Bennett Long; 5 sisters and 5 brothers, Carol (Frank) Kulavic, Patty Hurley, Shirley (Bill) Mills, Janet Patterson, Joanie (Eric) McMillan, Mike (Kathy) Bruce, Richard Bruce, Jim Bruce, Joe (Dawn) Bruce, Bill (Kris) Bruce, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Susie was sweet, friendly, and loved family and friends. She enjoyed Bingo and card games.

Cremation services are being accorded and Susie will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, IL. A private family service is being held. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
