Susan K. Belk, 62 of Springfield, passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2023 after a 5 year battle with cancer. Susan was born on November 19, 1961, in Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of Raymond and Betty (Moore) Coombes. Susan graduated from Rochester High School in 1980. She married Dennis Belk on September 19, 1987 and he survives. Susan loved anything to do with horses, and enjoyed riding in several parades throughout her life. She also enjoyed watching her great niece and nephew play in various sports.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and step-father, Earl Stuffle.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; sister, Terri Coombes; brother, Rodney Stuffle; niece, Becca Hawkinson, great nephew Zack and great niece Zerenity Hawkinson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective League.
