Steven James Roy, 67, of Rochester, IL passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2026.

Steve was born in Springfield on April 24, 1959 the son of William and Dorothy (Pokora) Roy.

He enjoyed fishing, shooting, and spending time outside. He loved animals and spending time with his friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Roy of Rochester; children, Amy Roy, Ryan Roy, Haley Roy (Jason Petros), Jacob Roy, Tracie Roy, and Zachary Roy; brother, Thomas (Smantha) Roy; as well as several grandchildren and many beloved friends.

Cremation services are being accorded.

Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1735 S Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707 on Monday August 10, 2026 at 10:00am.
