Steven Ray Boggs, 28, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at his home. Steven was born on July 16, 1994, in Springfield, the son of Steve and Jude (Nash) Boggs. Steven was a kind, loving, free spirited soul. He loved his family, friends, and anything with wheels. It was said that he could drive before he could walk. All who knew him know his love of music and drumming.

Steven is preceded in death by his mother, Jude; maternal grandfather, Jerry Nash; and his paternal grandparents Harland and Roberta Boggs.

He is survived by his father, Steve; brothers, Damon Miers and Brandon Boggs; sisters Belinda (Wayne) Piepenbrink and Andrea Boggs; nieces, Alexis and Amelia Piepenbrink; nephew, Henry Piepenbrink; grandmother Rebecca Carter and so many more extended family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, at Rochester First Baptist Church, 305 State Street, in Rochester, from 2:00PM until the time of the memorial service at 4:00PM with Chaplain Terry Link officiating.

Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery next to his mother.
