Stephen Turner, 59, of Illiopolis, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his residence.

Stephen was born September 6, 1957 in Salem the son of Robert and Marie Stephens Turner.  He married Linda Grundish on September 27, 1980.

He worked in the lab for Borden Chemical Company.  He was a member of Taylorville Gun Club and enjoyed collecting guns and sport shooting.  He loved his dog Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Stephanie (Adam) Harrington; and son, Jason Turner.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Illiopolis with Reverend Melissa Ebken officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the choice of the donor or a local pet organization.
