Sarah K. "Sally" Behl, 93, of Rochester, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Villa Healthcare East in Sherman. She was born on August 1, 1927, in Middlebourne, West Virginia, the daughter of Oscar & Pearl (Owens) Rhodes. She married Howard Behl in 1950. Sally was a charter member of Sugar Creek United Methodist Church, where she was very active in the United Methodist Women, serving in local and district offices.

She taught school for 39 years; 29 of them in Rochester. She was a graduate of Marshall University, Huntington, W.V., and received her Master's from UIS.

Sally was preceded in death by a brother, Judge Jerry Rhodes and sister, Jo R. King. She is survived by her son, Roger (Gayle) Behl; and daughter, Sarah (John) O'Shea, 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

A private family service was held and burial at Rochester Cemetery.
