Sandra J. Barton

SPRINGFIELD - Sandra J. Barton, 56, of Springfield, died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at her residence.

Sandra was born on May 20, 1957, in Hillsboro, the daughter of James and Delores Brooks Brown. She married David K. Barton, Sr., on August 25, 1979, in Springfield.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Beginnings Apostolic Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Ricky Brown.

She is survived by her husband, David; son, David K. (Jennifer) Barton, Jr., of Maryville, Tenn.; two daughters, Sarah N. (Adam) Schmitz of Litchfield and Elizabeth A. (Joshua) Edwards of Elkton, Md.; four grandchildren, Hallie, Nicholas, Logan, and Ashton; father, James Brown of Springfield; eight siblings, her twin brother Randy, Cathy, Tami, Sheila, Kenneth, Amy, Tonya and Susie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg with Reverend Greg Tucker officiating and Eulogy by Randy Brown, Jr. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
