Ruth Ann Gabriel, 68, of Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born on March 19, 1952, the daughter of C. Homer and Zella Jane (Sample) Ealey. She married Bruce Gabriel on October 17, 1971 and he survives.

Ruth Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, gardening, and growing flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, Robert, Kenny, Melvin, Louis, Carl and Don.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce; son, Clint; granddaughters, Kaleigh and Morgan Gabriel; two sisters, Mary Jane Ealey and Brenda (Ed) Buckles; two brothers, Paul (Jolene) and Jerry (Cindy) Ealey and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private family services will be held and burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. in Rochester is in charge of arrangements.
