Rose Marie Baker, 86, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at The Villas of Holly Brook in Springfield.

Rose was born on June 21, 1933, in Fort Monroe, Virginia, the daughter of Charles and Edna Gones. She married Ralph Baker on June 12, 1952 and celebrated 69 years of marriage together.

Rose was a volunteer at Lincoln Memorial Gardens, enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; children, Pam Spengler, Ralph Baker III., and Debbie (Terry) Mueller; 4 grandchildren, Aaron and Adam Spengler, Lauren Frost and Chris Mueller and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Wilson Park Funeral Home from 10:00AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 with Pastor Paul Dinges officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Sugar Creek United Methodist Church.
