Ronald Casey, 58, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at St John's Hospital.

Ron was born on February 27, 1960, in Hammond, IN, the son of William and Wilma (Alwardt) Casey.

He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Sheryl Sours; grandparents, Roy and Ella Casey and Wilbert and Ruth Alwardt; and stepfather, Richard Chesney

Ron is survived by sons, Nicholas and Brandon; mother, Wilma Chesney; brother, Joseph Casey; brother-in-law, Carlos Sours; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation will be accorded.  Services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League.
