Robert A. Mitts, 51, of Springfield, IL passed away at his residence on December 21, 2020.

He was born in Springfield, IL on December 29, 1968 the son of Roy Lee and Peggy Ann (Ray) Mitts.

Robert was preceded by all of his grandparents.

He is survived by his 3 children, Tanner Mitts of Springfield, Rylee Mitts of Springfield, and James Smith of Quincy; his parents, Roy and Peggy Mitts of Springfield; his brother, Richard Mitts of Springfield; several Aunts, nieces, nephews, and lots of friends

Robert was a loving father to his 3 children. He attended South East High School and worked in the printing industry for many years, Robert was an avid baseball player and loved to join any games he could find. He loved being the assistant coach for his kid's baseball teams.

Robert was a member of the Prop Club at the lake for many years as well.

Cremation services are being accorded by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home of Springfield and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
