SPRINGFIELD, IL - Robert "Larry" Murphy II, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at his residence.

Robert was born April 19, 1950, in Springfield, the son of Robert Lawrence and June Howarth Murphy.

He worked as a union plumber and had also owned Larry Murphy's Plumbing for over 10 years.

He is survived by two sons, Robert (Sara) Murphy III, and Frederick (Ashley) Murphy, both of Petersburg; two grandchildren, Coralynn Murphy and Robert L. Murphy IV, both of Petersburg; and one brother, Michael Kim (Diane) Murphy of Golconda.

Cremation will be accorded. Private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
