Richard A. Ruch, 81, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. Richard was born in Springfield on December 9, 1940, the son of Richard and Pearl (Yocom) Ruch. He married Brenda "Joyce" Milligan in 1962 and celebrated 50 years together. Richard was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during Viet Nam. A member of Masonic Lodge 500 and the NRA and enjoyed golfing, watching sports, and was an avid knife and gun collector. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Margie Miller; and nephew, Larry Miller. He is survived by three children, Carla (Mark) Blough, Craig (Billie) Ruch, and Leslie (Bill) Goff; five grandchildren, Nicole Art, Kyle Brozka, Zain Ruch, Brayden Ruch and Addi Goff; as well as 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Gravesides services will be held on Monday, November 28, at 3:00PM at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Riverton. Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
