Raymond E. Keltner, 91, of Springfield, IL passed away in the company of his family on Monday February 12, 2024 at home.

Raymond was born in Springfield on September 20, 1932 and was the son of Charles E. and Wynoa (Spaints) Keltner. He married Virginia Hughes on June 28, 1958 in Springfield and she preceded him in death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crossword puzzles and playing cards. He was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. Most importantly, Raymond especially loved his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

Raymond is survived by his sons, Raymond Keltner, Jeff Keltner (companion, Samtha Miller), and Charles Keltner all of Springfield; grandchildren, Jeremy Keltner (wife, Leandra), Alex , and Amanda Lane all of Springfield; great grandchildren, Chlo'e, Leah, Scarlette, Zoey, Grace, and Chrisa; as well as his sister, Eileen Brown of Arkansas and Richard Keltner of Arizona.

Visitation will be held at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 on Monday February 19, 2024 from 10:00 am till the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery outside Springfield. Raymond will be laid to rest next to his wife Virginia.
