Randy Ray Lyon, age 73 of Somonauk, IL passed away at his home on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1952 in Decatur, IL the son of William H. and Donna (Wilson) Lyon.

Randy was united in marriage on July 26, 1986 to Marsha Weybright and they spent 38 years happily together until her passing on October 11, 2024. Mr. Lyon was a Real Estate Broker. Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Randy is survived by his children, Michelle (Kevin) Pritchard of Somonauk, IL, Skylar (Dorian) Lyon of Wake Forest, NC, Kylie (Dan) Welling of Chelsea, MI; his grandchildren, Krista, Sierra, Noah, Aurora, Nathan, Hudson, and Nolan; his siblings, Tyler (Sandy) Lyon, of Niantic, IL and Tia (Jerry) Lyon of Buffalo, IL; nephews Clay Lyon of Decatur, IL; Casey Lyon of Dawson, IL; Justin Lyon of Forsyth, IL; Jordon Lyon of Decatur, IL; Heath (Deanna) Stolte of Macon, IL; niece Lindsay Lyon of Decatur, IL; and his uncle, Edward Wilson of New York.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Lyon; his parents, William H. and Donna Lyon; his grandparents, Donald and Trudy Wilson; his two nephews, Joe and Steve Stolte.

Visitation will be held at the Fullenwider Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg, IL on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 2:00 until 5:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 5:00 PM.

Interment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery in Illiopolis, IL.
