Randy Joe Lynn, 61, of Chatham, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

Randy was born April 5, 1965, in Ashland, to Art and Dorothy (Williams) Lynn.

Randy proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He then spent over 28 years driving for McLane Trucking, where he was known for his hard work and the way he treated people. He received the company’s Service Level Award several times for his customer service, was #1 Driver, and was proud to be inducted into the Trucking Hall of Fame. Randy believed in working hard and was always chasing the next dollar to take care of his family.

When he wasn’t working, Randy loved being outside. He enjoyed boating, camping, riding his motorcycle, and mowing with his lawn company. He liked staying busy and was happiest when he was outdoors or spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy is survived by his wife, Kristi Lynn; his children, Sara Lynn and Randy (Dominika) Lynn; stepchildren, Stacy Barboza and Kevin Rettie; grandchildren, Melania, Leonardo “Leo,” Olivia, Oliver, and Summer Rae; siblings, Dianna, Frannie, Gary, Tom, Rick, and Larry; his mother-in-law, Mary Agnes, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Wilson Park Funeral Home 200 E. Main St. in Rochester.
