Ralph L. Trader

BUCKHART, IL - Ralph L. Trader, 81, of Buckhart, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Ralph was born Dec. 10, 1932, in Rochester, Ill., the son of James Leroy Trader and Bertha Lee Phillips. He married Geraldine Davis on Jan. 9, 1964, who preceded him in death on Sept. 1, 2000.

Ralph retired from Fiat Allis after 30 years and then drove the tour bus for Caterpillar where he later retired from. Ralph was also a Shriner since 2001.

He is survived by two daughters, Linda (Dale) Ruggless of Rochester, and Shelia McKean of Texas; two sons, John (Tonya) Trader of Rochester and William (Cynthia) Tweedell of Circleville, Ohio; one sister, Betty Williams; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Malia McKean; two sons, Ralph (Carla) Trader and Conrad Tweedell; two sisters, Norma Ulrich and Mary Trader; and three brothers: Robert, James and Rex Trader.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014. at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
