Ralph Waldo Baker, Jr. 94, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at The Villas of Hollybrook in Springfield, IL.

Ralph was born in Keokuk, IA, on March 8, 1930, the son of Ralph W. Baker Sr. and Blanche (Youngberg) Baker. He married Rose Marie Wilson on June12 1952 and she preceded him in death on April 4, 2021.

Ralph enjoyed golfing, model airplanes and loved spending time with his family and traveling. He was a member of Sugar Creek United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife

Ralph is survived by his children, Pam Spengler, Ralph W. Baker III, and Debbie (Terry) Mueller; four grandchildren, Aaron and Adam Spengler, Lauren Frost and Chris (Emily) Mueller; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Beverly O'Dell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10:00AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00AM at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street in Rochester with Pastor Paul Dinges officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Township Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association or Sugar Creek United Methodist Church.
