Priscilla May Beal, 82, of Springfield, IL passed away on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.

Priscilla was born in Springfield on July 18, 1940 and was the daughter of Virgil W. and Dorothy M. Thompson.

She attended and graduated from Springfield High School. She then went on to work for the State of Illinois for 40 plus years in various positions before she retired. However, Priscilla lived for her family. She always put everyone's needs before her own and she would do anything for anyone. She loved her siblings and her children but she especially had a special place in her heart for her two Grandsons.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; as well as two brothers, Virgil and Vaughn Thompson and one sister Cheryl Thompson.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Beal) Witherell of Chatham, and Robert (Crystal) Beal of Riverton; a sister, Patricia Thompson of Springfield; her grandsons, Aaron Witherell of Chatham and Shawn Jacobs of Springfield; and two Great Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 9, at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 from 9:30am -10:50am. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00am with burial at Roselawn Memorial Park to follow.
