Polly Taapken, 78, of Pleasant Plains, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg.

Polly was born on June 3, 1942, in Springfield, the daughter of George and Daisy (Connor) Clements.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Greg Miles.

She is survived by her husband "Bub" Taapken, daughter in law, Nancy Miles; grandson Joe (Annie) Miles and great grandson Arlo.

Private family graveside services will be held at Cartwright Cemetery in Pleasant Plains with Pastor Keith Masten officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Richland Creek Baptist Church or the Pleasant Plains Fire Department.
