Phyllis Dianne Sexton
ROCHESTER - Phyllis Dianne Sexton, 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at her daughter's home in Rochester.
Phyllis was born on January 21, 1935, in Decatur, the daughter of Wayne and Lucille Morrison Arthur. She married Bill Sexton; he preceded her in death.
She was a member of South Fork Church of Christ in Rochester. She was very devoted to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed sewing and fishing.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Ed Hornbeck.
She is survived by four sons, Gary Lee (Lori) Walker of Springfield, Mark Wayne (Kathy) Walker and Kale Ellis (Julie) Walker, both of Rochester, and Russell Walker of Jacksonville; two daughters, Marsha Chapin and Melody Walker, both of Rochester; two brothers, David (Carla) Hornbeck and Bob (Jeanette) Hornbeck; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester with Reverend David Johnson officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Supportive Living or the South Fork Church of Christ in Rochester.
